Corban was one of the ungodly and unscriptural practices in Jesus’ days; it is a teaching that places payment of vows and giving into temple treasury above all else – including taking care of one’s parents.
The mixed multitude were not God’s covenant people. God did not call them out of Egypt; they just took advantage of the deliverance of Israel to come out of the house of bondage…
